Golden Sovereign Mines is a pre-IPO gold consolidation business focused on the production and processing of gold in partnership with artisanal miners in Zambia.
Managing director Christian West says the company was conceived this year with the aim of becoming a listed entity by H1 2026 and rapidly become a cash generative enterprise.
In this interview, investors will learn:
- How the company will work with artisanal cooperatives, and what the relationships are like with communities, chiefs and mining authorities
- What the ancillary benefits of these collaborations are for the environment and social empowerment
- How the construction of a processing plant improves the economics of both the business proposition and quality of life for the miners
- Why Golden Sovereign Mines is partnering with a Canadian based NGO at its first project in Rufunsa
- How much gross margin the company anticipates it will make per ounce of gold tolled
- What the benefits of working in Zambia are from the perspectives of mining expertise, stability of democracy and the legal system
- How long construction of the first plant will take once the first round of financing is completed
- Who is on the board, what relevant experience they have and what is their collective view of the current gold cycle
