Great Western Mining Corp's (LON:GWMO) Brian Hall presents his shareholders the details about how dealings in shares will be cleared in the future. Hall explains it is a mandatory exercise resulting from Brexit, which means that Irish public companies such as GW will soon no longer be able to clear their share trades in London through the Crest system and as EU domiciled companies will need to migrate to the Euroclear system in Belgium. Provided this Migration is done properly, Great Western shareholders who buy or sell shouldn’t notice any difference or even be aware of the change. However, achieving a seamless transition is quite a complicated legal exercise for the company and we are going to need a bit of help from our shareholders.
