Greencoat UK Wind PLC (LON:UKW) Stephen Lillie talks to Proactive London about the agreement to acquire a 49% stake in the Humber Gateway offshore wind farm as part of a consortium with several pension funds.
This represents their third acquisition this year and means the specialist wind power specialist will be the largest part of the consortium and acquire a net 38% stake for £500m while the pension funds will acquire a net 11% for £148m.
As a Yorkshireman himself, Lillie is particularly pleased with this move and is confident they will reap the benefits as they build up with 'balanced portfolio'.
