Immotion (LON:IMMO) is to put one of its virtual reality entertainment pods in Spanish leisure operator Aspro Parks’ Blue Planet Aquarium in Cheshire. Aspro’s one of the largest European operators of leisure parks and centres with 68 locations across 10 countries including the UK, Spain, France and Germany.
Thor Mining (LON:THR) has increased the tungsten and molybdenum resource at its Molyhil project by 1.5% and 9.3% respectively. The mineral resource also got a boost by the addition of copper as a by-stream product.
Avacta (LON:AVCT) has entered a collaboration and option agreement with Swiss group ADC to develop Affimer-drug conjugates. ADC is a clinical-stage oncology-focused biotech pioneering the development of highly potent and targeted antibody-drug conjugates.
Wealth manager Hargreaves Lansdown shrugged of the impact from the Woodford fund debacle. Net new business rose by £1.7bn in its latest quarter with assets under management climbing to almost £102bn.
Dunelm has notched up another robust trading performance. Like for like sales increased by 6.4% in the three months to September though sales tailed off towards the end of the period.
Specialist clothes chain N Brown is finding life a lot tougher. The Jacamo and Simply Be owner saw sales slide more than 9% in its latest half year while underlying profits improved slightly.
