LBG Media has hailed 2024 as a 'transformational year', with the digital entertainment group reporting forecast-beating preliminary results. Strong momentum from its US expansion and diversified revenue base supported management's confidence in achieving a 10% top-line growth, as the business targets £200 million in annual turnover. The company, which targets young adults, reported total revenues of £86.2 million for the period to September 30, a 22% year-on-year increase.
Pantheon Resources has announced that initial results from the Megrez-1 well in Alaska have exceeded pre-drill expectations. The well, part of the Ahpun project, encountered a total of seven intersections across four horizons. Preliminary analysis indicates an overall increase in the vertical thickness of the hydrocarbon section to 2,425 feet, with the liquid column observed to be larger than expected.
Greatland Gold has reported that it produced almost 30,000 ounces of gold and more than 11 hundred tonnes of copper in the first month of its ownership of the Telfer mine in Pilbara, Western Australia. Dual train processing operations resumed on December 4th, with 1,466kt of ore processed to December 31st.
Meanwhile, Ariana Resources' Turkish joint venture Zenit produced and sold 20,866 ounces of gold in 2024, exceeding its guidance of 20,000 ounces. This resulted in the second-highest annual gross revenues in its history.
And Bradda Head Lithium is aiming to start production on its San Domingo project from late 2026. Plans for the current year include defining a maiden resource at San Domingo. The company believes there is an opportunity to define a potentially much bigger resource than originally envisioned.
