Novo Resources Corp executive co-chairman Mike Spreadborough and Kas De Luca, the company's exploration general manager joined Steve Darling from Proactive to discuss the company’s latest exploration target update at its Belltopper gold project in Victoria, highlighting a significant upgrade to the project’s potential and outlining plans for renewed drilling in 2026.
“We’ve captured it all in a really good 3D model, so it really speaks to both the geology and the mineralisation,” De Luca said, noting that the model has significantly improved the company’s understanding of the controls on gold mineralisation at Belltopper.
The updated 2026 exploration target outlines a high-case scenario of up to 880,000 ounces of gold at an average grade of 8.9 grams per tonne, representing a 48% increase compared with the previous exploration model.
