Quantum Blockchain Technologies PLC (AIM:QBT) chairman and CEO Francesco Gardin discusses the company's latest advancements and targets for 2024 with Proactive's Stephen Gunnion following the release of its 2023 results.
Speaking from the Mining Disrupt Conference in Miami, Florida, Gardin highlighted the company's unique technology and its focus on research and development in three areas: AI, quantum computing, and special architecture for ASIC chips.
Gardin shared that 2023 was a productive year, with significant progress in these domains. He mentioned the ongoing efforts and new teams being added in 2024 to enhance its technology further. Despite cautious communication regarding revenue generation, Gardin emphasised the technology's proven lab results and its potential market impact.
Discussing the application of AI in optimising Bitcoin mining algorithms, Gardin underscored the rigorous testing and robustness required for Quantum Blockchain's products in harsh environments. Additionally, Gardin touched on the successful court case against Sipiem defendants and the ongoing efforts to collect the more than €6 million that was awarded by a Venice court.
Looking ahead, Quantum Blockchain aims to deploy and commercialise its products or explore joint ventures with major industry players.
