Seeing Machines Ltd CEO Paul McGlone talked with Proactive about the company’s latest quarterly results and operational milestones. He highlighted strong growth across both the automotive and fleet businesses, reporting that Seeing Machines' technology is now installed in just under 3.25 million vehicles—a 77% increase compared to 12 months ago.
McGlone noted, “We’ve returned to a really strong growth profile,” referencing a 34% increase in quarterly royalties compared to the previous quarter. These numbers are expected to climb sharply due to incoming European safety regulations.
On the fleet side, commercial production of Guardian Generation 3 has officially commenced. The company posted nearly 1,200 unit sales in the quarter, with a target to reach 6,000 units per quarter by year-end. McGlone said the product offers “a dramatically different gross margin profile” and has begun to build a sales pipeline.
He also discussed the collaboration with Mitsubishi, which includes sales efforts across Japan and the Americas. McGlone confirmed Seeing Machines has integrated planning and sales efforts with Mitsubishi to target new and existing customers.
