The NextEnergy Solar Fund Limited (LON:NESF) recently added the Staughton Airfield Solar Farm to its portfolio.
With the help of time-lapse and drone footage, Ross Grier walks us through the development of the Staughton site.
Ross, who is the UK managing director of NextEnergy Capital, which advises the fund, says: “At 50 megawatts this was a big project. To put it into context, the site is generating enough clean and green electricity to power over 15,000 homes each year. In fact, it is the UK’s largest constructed subsidy-free solar plant.”
