• Strong OP growth – Q1 FY3/26 resulted in continued strong OP growth (+80.2 YoY), improving the consolidated OP margin from 2.9% in Q1 FY3/25 to 5.4% in Q1 FY3/26. By segment, the Films segment was the primary OP growth driver, achieving strong segment OP growth (+166.3% YoY) and segment OP margin expansion from 3.6% in Q1 FY3/25 to 9.0% in Q1 FY3/26 on the back of profitability improvement with unit price hikes for packaging films. The Environmental and Functional Materials segment was the second largest OP growth driver (+14.9%), benefiting from unit price hikes, lower domestic naphtha prices, and profitability improvement for nonwoven materials.
