What you need to know:
• Kobo reported assay results from 15 holes as part of the ongoing drill program at its 100% owned Kossou Project in Côte d’Ivoire.
• Results support continued mineralization extensions within the Jagger and Road Cut zone structures, and further define the deposit ahead of the maiden resource estimate expected this quarter.
• In addition, Kobo successfully identified new structures at Jagger, expanding mineralization beyond defined zones.
• Drilling continues to highlight the potential scale of the project, and the inaugural resource will be the next key catalyst to watch for.
This morning, Kobo Resources (KRI:TSXV) reported drill results for an additional 15 holes from its ongoing diamond drill campaign at the Kossou Gold Project in Cote d’Ivoire. Drilling continues to confirm and extend mineralization within the Jagger and Road Cut zones ahead of the upcoming inaugural MRE, which we expect to be released this quarter. Highlight intercepts from this morning’s batch of drilling came at depth in the Jagger Zone and along the Contact Zone (CZ) Fault in the Road Cut Zone. Further, new structures were identified at Jagger, highlighting Kossou’s expansion potential beyond the zones currently being defined. On January 12th, KRI provided an overview of its 2025 exploration program, which totalled over 20,000m of drilling (see page 2 for the highlights). We are maintaining our BUY rating and target price of $0.60/share on KRI.
