Ampeak’s Mey BESS project has received consent and planning for the 300MW, four hour, Mey BESS battery project in Caithness. This takes its portfolio of consented battery storage projects to 2.93GWh and moves the project forward with operations expected in 2029. With a higher consented capacity than our existing modelled assumptions our central valuation rises to 11.1p from 10.0p.
