On March 31, 2026, Cocrystal Pharma, Inc. (COCP) announced financial results for the year ending December 31, 2025 and provided a business update. The company recently announced that CDI-988 was granted Fast Track designation by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Fast Track designation is designed to facilitate the development of drugs that treat serious conditions with unmet medical needs. It allows for early and frequent interactions with the agency throughout the development process and allows for a rolling review of a New Drug Application (NDA) and may qualify for a Priority Review of the NDA. Cocrystal has initiated a Phase 1b norovirus challenge study with CDI-988. We anticipate topline results near the end of 2026 or early 2027.
