U-Haul Holding Company is the parent company of U-Haul International, the world's largest consumer truck and trailer rental company. U-Haul is also the third largest self-storage operator in North America. U-Haul benefited from a step up in top-line demand for self-moving services during the pandemic, namely in FY2021 and FY2022. Thereafter, demand growth subsided but has remained well above FY2021 levels. Management continues to expand capacity in the self-storage area. Through the first 9 months of FY 2025, UHAL has invested 18% more in self-moving equipment than during the same period in FY2024.
