Island Pharmaceuticals Ltd (ASX:ILA) is an antiviral therapeutics company targeting infectious diseases. The company announced on 4 March 2026 that it had reached an agreement with two strategic US-based biodefence institutions in connection with ILA’s Galidesivir programme. The three-year Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA) is a trilateral agreement with the US Army Medical Research Institute (USAMRIID) and The Geneva Foundation. This builds on ILA’s partnership with other key organisations, including lobbyists Todd Strategy Group and the Medical Countermeasures Coalition, both announced in November 2025. The CRADA is a meaningful development as it contributes to ensuring that ILA is a known entity with the US government in the event that its lead drug Galidesivir is approved by the FDA. This alignment helps towards making commercial sales as soon as possible. Our probability-weighted NPV (rNPV) remains at $1.24/share.
