Further steps have been taken by management to reposition the Group away from challenging coal and steel markets and, importantly, medium term aspirations have been outlined today. These include core operating profitability of £10m-£15m, £35m to £50m of incremental value from Property/Energy over five years, and £66m of cash realisation from surplus assets. It is early days, but were this capable management team able to deliver these aspirations, significant value would be created.
