Velocys PLC (LON:VLS) chief executive Henrik Wareborn speaks to Proactive soon after receiving planning committee approval for its waste-to-jet-fuel plant in Immingham, North East Lincolnshire.
The plant's intended to convert hundreds of thousands of tonnes per year of non-recyclable everyday household and commercial waste into cleaner burning sustainable aviation fuel.
It's a collaboration between Velocys, British Airways PLC and Shell and Wareborn says it's expected to create 130 permanent skilled jobs and many more during construction.
