EQTEC has issued an update on the funding of its French projects where they have achieved to awards from GRDF, the French natural gas distribution operator and ENGIE subsidiary. At the Istres Green Gas project , the company has received an additional €50k in private funding, taking GRDF’s total commitment to date to €177k. While EQTEC now also expect to receive a further €150k from GRDF for their role in a consortium deploying an integrated methanation system at the University of Lorraine site in Epinal. These awards highlight that whilst EQTEC continues to have funding challenges, that their underlying technology may continue to have commercial appeal.
